Twilight

In the morning grey
Your skin glows
A bead of sweat
Lies in the hollow
Of your neck
In quiet repose

My tongue reaches
Stretches
Quietly stealing
Gliding
Over your skin
To capture each bead
Which my eyes discover

As I complete
My twilight voyage
You stir, softly
I hear a happy purr
As your limbs find mine
I lie frozen, shocked
Taken by sudden surprise
My heart races
As I realise
For the very first time
How it feels
To have my whole body
Suffused with a smile
